A chemical distillation tower, 110 m high is supported by cables of length L that reach from the top of the column to the ground at a distance D from the base of the tower. If D is 1/3 the length of a cable, find L and D.

L^2 = 110^2 + (L/3)^2
L = 116.67
so, D = 38.89
