When a teacher ask you to find the area of a circle in terms of "pi" what does she mean?
Ex: diameter= 16 ft. would it be 16 'pi'??

A = d ^ 2 pi / 4
If d = 16 ft then :
A = 16 ^ 2 pi / 4 = 256 pi / 4 = 64 pi ft ^ 2
If d = 16 ft then :
A = 16 ^ 2 pi / 4 = 256 pi / 4 = 64 pi ft ^ 2
