A thermometer is guaranteed to give a temperature no more than 1.2 degrees Fahrenheit from the natural temperature. If the thermometer reads 28 degrees Fahrenheit, write and solve an eqution to find the maximum and minimum temperatures it could be.

If it reads 28°F, and it cannot be more than 1.2° from the ambient temperature, then
the range is between
(28-1.2)°F and (28+1.2)°F
the range is between
(28-1.2)°F and (28+1.2)°F
