2/25 = 8 hundredths = 0.08

There's a difference between 0.08 and 0.8. Think money.

$1.08 is one dollar and eight cents.

$1.80 is one dollar and eighty cents.

Get 48 pennies. Divide them into piles of 6 cents (0.06) each. How many piles do you have?
