suppose the set of points have the following coordinates:(-2,3),(4,-4),(2,-3). please calculate the moment of this set of points about the x-axis and also about the center.

about the origin:
I am wondering which moment. The first moment is the mean, or
momentx=1/3(-2+4+2)=4/3
now, the center is the mean, so by definition, the first moment about the mean is zero, both in x, and y.
