It is 10 miles farther from town B to town C than it is from town C to town D. It is 330milesfrom town A to town D . how far is it from town A to town B?

I think you have a typo and meant to say "One day we decided to dive from town A to town D" , or else why would you drive from A to B and then to C to get from A to B.
I also assume that the town are along the same road.
Let BC = x
then AB = x+10
CD = x-10
x+10 + x + x-10 = 330
3x = 330
x =110
AB = 120
