Union of Q and H (Q∪H) is the combined set of events of drawing one of the 4 queens or the event of drawing one of the 13 hearts.
Note that P(Q∪H)=P(Q)+P(H)-P(Q∩H)
The intersection of Q and H (Q∩H) is the event of drawing a Queen and a heart in the same draw, i.e. Queen of Hearts.
