I had a two part question in which I'm fairly sure I did the first part correct, but part b I am unsure about. For part a, I had to determine the magnitude of the net electric field at the origin, which I got E= 1.7 X 10^7 N/C. Part b)if a point charge of 3 µC was placed at the origin, what is the MAGNITUDE of the force it experiences? This is what I did: F= q*E -> (3 X 10^-6 C)+ (1.7 X 10^7 N/C) = 1.7 X 10^7 N??? Not sure if that was right, if so, the net electric field determines the magnitude of any charge?

a. I have no idea is this is correct
b. force=Eq in the direction of E. Why did you add? They are multiplied.
