a. V = Vo + gt
V = 0 + 9.8*2.6 = 25.48 m/s.
b. d = Vo*t + (g/2)*t^2.
d = 0 + 4.9*(2.6)^2 = 33.12 m.
V = 0 + 9.8*2.6 = 25.48 m/s.
b. d = Vo*t + (g/2)*t^2.
d = 0 + 4.9*(2.6)^2 = 33.12 m.

0*(2.6) + (9.8/2) * (2.6)^2

Don't forget to divide the 1/2 out of the equation. 9.8 will become 4.9 a lot of people make the mistake of forgetting to cancel and divide 1/2.
