Please note, this is one section of the problem. I didn't feel the need to post the entire question as I understand how to do it...minus this one part.

This question requires radians and the conversion of such into degrees
the general formula for it is
degrees= radians x 180/pi
radians=degrees x pi/180
in your case: converting radians to degrees becomes
pi/3 x 180/pi = 60 degrees
tan 60 = sqrt3
therefore, 2tan pi/3 = 2sqrt3
