find the equation of a parabola that opens to the right with given vertex: (0,3) and passes through the point: (2,-1)

with a vertex of (0,3) and opening up to the right, the equation is

x = a(y-3)^2 + 0
but it passes through (2,-1)
2 = a(16)
a = 1/8

x = (1/8)(y-3)^2
or
8x = (y-3)^2
