limewater is Calcium P (lime) and water.
The reaction is CaO+ H2O>>Ca(OH)2
Now, add carbon dioxide (in your breath) and you get
Ca(OH)2+ CO2 >> Ca(CO3) + H2O and the calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is chalk, which is not soluble in the water, so it appears as a white cloud. Eventually it will settle on the bottom, as chalk.
