11 - 8 ÷ (1/3 + 1/5)

3 / (5/15 + 3/15)

3 / (8/15)

3 * (15/8) = 45/8 = 5 5/8

11 - 8 ÷ (1/3 + 1/5)
= 11 - 8/(8/15)
= 11 - 8*15/8
= 11-15
= -4
