A frame maker made a large picture using 10 feet of frame molding. If the length of the finished frame was 2 feet more than the width, then what were the dimensions of the frame.

P = 2L + 2W

10 = 2(W + 2) + 2W

10 = 4W + 4

6 = 4W

1 1/2 = W
