                what is a conjugate acid/base pair that would be suitable to prepare an ideal buffer with a pH more than 7? If possible can you include Ka and Kb values to explain why the pH would be more than 7

    The one I see with a pH about 7.5 or so is the HPO4^2-/H2PO4^- buffer system.
pH = pK2 + log base/acid
K2 is about 6.3E-8 which makes pK2 = 7.2
