What does water pressure to do your ears?

HI there,
Water pressure is more than the air pressure that you breathe in. So, if you are stuck in water..the water pressure will make you feel a pressure and force on your ears. So, when you dive deep underwater you will feel immense pressure on your ears because your body needs to counter that pressure from water.
Also remember water pressure increases with how deep you go.
P = rho * g * h if you have already been taught that. If not, don't worry!
