Are the renew molecules or ions formed when SO2(g) mix with CaCl2, HCl?

I don't know what a renew molecule is. Under the right conditions CaCl2 probably forms CaSO3 with SO2 but I don't think SO2 reacts with HCl. SO2 will react with the water in HCl soln forming H2SO3 then the HCl acts as a common ion and decreases the dissociation of the H2SO3.
