At a local deli, two beef sandwiches and a chicken sandwich cost 12.25. Three beef and two chicken sandwiches cost $20. Find the cost of each sandwich.

2B + C = 12.25

4B + 2C = 24.50

3B + 2C = 20

Multiply both sides of first equation by 2. Subtract second equation from new first to solve for B. Insert in first equation of find C. Check by putting both values into the second equation.
