Asked by Jill

I am having trouble with the concept of unit conversions for math C30. I am in cyber school and it does not seem to be explaining it as much as I would like.
Here is the question:
Change 25 kilometers per hour into feet per second.

Can you please explain how you are finding the units to convert into.

Thanks!

Using this site, I found --

25 km = 82020.997 feet

http://www.metric-conversions.org/length/kilometers-to-feet.htm

1 hour = 60 * 60 = 3600 seconds

Divide: 82020.997 / 3600 = 22.7836103 feet per second.
