If the similarity ratio of two similar triangles is a : b, then the ratio of their areas is :
a ^ 2 / b ^ 2
So :
a ^ 2 / b ^ 2 = 36 / 25
a / b = sqrt ( 36 ) / sqrt ( 25 ) = 6 / 5
a ^ 2 / b ^ 2
So :
a ^ 2 / b ^ 2 = 36 / 25
a / b = sqrt ( 36 ) / sqrt ( 25 ) = 6 / 5
