Can someone help me do this?

I need to find the domain of this equation:
x - 3 = 2√11-2x

1 answer

The domain of x - 3 = 2√11-2x
is R (real) minus the part where
(11-2x) is negative, whence
(11-2x)<0
=>
2x>11
=> x> 11/2

Therefore the required domain is
(-∞,11/2]
