b. To solve this problem, I'll assume
the resistance of the bulb is linear and remains constant when 1.5 volts is
applied.
R = V/I = 2.4/0.7 = 3.43 Ohms = Resistance of each bulb.
When 3 are connected in parallel,
Req = 3.43/3 = 1.14 Ohms.
I = V/Req = 1.5/1.14 = 1.31 Amps.
