all i know is that the answer is x=1.5

(x/6) - 5 = (1/2)x + (1/3)x -4
Combine "x" terms on one side and constants on the right.
(3/6 + 2/6 - 1/6)x = -1
(2/3)x = -1
x = -3/2 = -1.5
