I am trying to factor, but I can't seem to get this one. The question is: -15d*2*-2d+8. It is actually -15d squared but I didn't know how to right that without it being confusing. Anyways I changed it so now it says -1(15d-2d+8). Then I drew a diagram using the factors of 15 and 8 to try to find a pair that equals 2. I found all the factors, but none of them equaled 2. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

You went awry on the minus signs:
-15d^2-2d+8 = -(15d^2 + 2d - 8)
factoring that will give you
-(3d-2)(5d+4)
-15d^2-2d+8 = -(15d^2 + 2d - 8)
factoring that will give you
-(3d-2)(5d+4)
