man A takes 2 cards from a deck and says "one is an ace." Man B takes 2 cards (from a new deck) and says, "one is the ace of spades." Is one of them more likely to have 2 aces in his hand than the others. Explain.( are they equally likely or not?)

The probability of getting an ace is 4/52 and getting the ace of spades is 1/52, the probability of the second ace for both is 3/51.
The probability of <I>both</I> or <I>all</I> events occurring (having 2 aces) is found by multiplying the probability of the individual events.
