The pet shop owner told jean to fill the new fish tank 3/4 full of water.Jean filled the tank 9/12 full.What fraction of the tank does she still need to fill?

she filled 3/4.. whe is done.

It would be 3/4. When you find the common denominator (which is 12) and you have to subtract 9/12 from 9/12 it would be 0/12, which isn't really a fraction, therefore she has filled it full.
