If there were only cats and dogs at the pound and the ratio of cats to dogs was 3:4 if there were 105 cats, how many animals altogether?

The ratio of cats to dogs = 3:4
The number of Cats = 105
Thus The number of cats = 105/3 = 35
Thus,The Number Of Dogs = 35X4= 140
Thus,the total number of Animals in the Pound = 140+105 = 245
