if you have n dimes, then you have 100-n quarters. working with the value of the money,
10n + 25(100-n) = 1405
10n + 2500 - 25n = 1405
15n = 1095
n=73
so, 73 dimes and 27 quarters.
7.30 + 6.75 = 14.05
10n + 25(100-n) = 1405
10n + 2500 - 25n = 1405
15n = 1095
n=73
so, 73 dimes and 27 quarters.
7.30 + 6.75 = 14.05
