odds in favour of some event = prob(event)/prob(not event)
so prob of pat winning = 7/13
check:
prob pat will win = 7/13
prob pat will lose = 6/13
odds in favour of losing = (6/13) / (7/13) = 6/7
or 6 : 7
so prob of pat winning = 7/13
check:
prob pat will win = 7/13
prob pat will lose = 6/13
odds in favour of losing = (6/13) / (7/13) = 6/7
or 6 : 7
