Write a sine equation for period= pie, amplitude=1/2, vertical shift up 1 and phase shift left pie/4. How would the equation be written?

Y= 1/2 sin pi (x+pi/4) -1

remember that the period of sin kx is 2π/k
so your function will have to be of the form
y = sin 2x

inserting the other stuff , you would have

y = (1/2) sin 2(x + π/4) + 1
