Question
A microscope shows you an image of an object that is 80 times the actual size. Therefore, the scale factor of the enlargement is 80. An insect has a body length of 7 millimeters. What is the body length of the insect under the microscope?
I know it's 560, but not sure if millimeters or centimeters. How do you know?

units don't change by scaling
if you had a box of apples, and you upsized the box, would it now be full of oranges?
so, if it stated out as 7mm, it ends up as 80*7mm = 560mm
