If you have a total budget of 118,000 what integer would represent a total budget?

So while I was waiting this is what I done I took the total amount and divided by 10 is this correct?
118250/10= 11825

I so confused.

You previously said the total budget was 118,000. Why would you divide it by 10, anyway?
