So I'm working with polynomials:
Find the value of x in the geometric shape.
Area=144ð
The radius is: (x+4)cm
PLEASE HELP.D:

144 = (3.14)(x+4)^2
144/3.14 = (x+4)^2
45.86 = x^2 + 16
45.86 - 16 = x^2
29.86 = x^2
square root both sides and you get
x = 5.46
