How would you get the exact value of the following problem:

29 * 6^(-3x) = 11

Thanks!

1 answer

divide by 29:
6^(-3x) = 11/29
take log of both sides
-3x = log(11/29)
x = -log(11/29)/3
or, x = log(29/11)/3
