some definitions of trapezoid specify only that it must have one pair of parallel sides. In that case, a parallelogram is also a trapezoid.
Others specify that there be <b>only</b> one pair of parallel sides. In that case, it would not.

No, cus the parallelogram has two pairs of opposite sides parallel while a trapezoid has only one pair of opposite side parallel.Also the parallel sides are equal in parallelogram bt are nt equal in trapezoid
