Spinner 1 : 4 outcomes
Spinner 2 : 6 outcomes
The spinners are independent of each other, so the multiplication rule applies.
Total possible outcomes: 4*6=24

Count how many compound events (one outcome from each spinner) gives a sum of 7.
For example,
1+6, 1+6, 3+4, 4+3 for a total of 4 events.
So P(7)=4/24=1/6
