What is the weight of a 12 kg mass on the moon if the gravitational acceleration (g) was only .8 m/s/s?

weight= m*gravitationalacceleration

The actual value of g on the Moon is 1.6 m/s/s, not 0.8.

The weight formula is
W = M g,
but I cannot recommend using an incorrect value for g.
