z=2
Okay, well you need to isolate the variable, so I subtracted 1/4 from both sides. So I got (15/8)z=4-(1/4).
Or (15/8)z=15/4
Then simply multiply both sides by (8/15) to get z alone.
z=(15/4)(8/15)
z=2
