They could just as well have said:
h(x) =|x|
The relation gives different results depending on the value of x you choose
form the middle condition all you would get is (0,0)
ordered pairs form the first would be like
(-1,1), (-4,4), (-25,25) , etc
ordered pairs from the first would be like
(1,1, (2,2), 5,5) , (103,103, etc.
the graph would be V-shaped.
