You need these fractions over a common denominator, like 14 which is 2*7
then you original list is (numerators only, all denominators 14
6 , -12, 2, -7, 4
so in ascending order the numerators over the common denominator 14 are
-12, -7, 2, 4, 6, (remember the -7/14 is from -1/2)
so put back original denominators
-6/7 , -1/2 , 1/7 , 2/7 , 3/7
