When making points under sub numbers, i.e. (i), then (ii) etc., is the first letter of that point supposed to be capitalized or in lower letters?

If it's a complete sentence, then yes, use a capital letter for each one.

If each point is not a complete sentence, then I wouldn't use capitals.

PS - Make sure all the points are the same -- either all complete sentences or all incomplete sentences.
