1. Dan is building a silo on his farm in the shape of a right circular cylinder. The silo has a radius of 20 cm and a height of 60 cm. If he were to increase the radius and height by a factor of 1.5, by what factor would the volume of the silo increase?

volume= 4PI/3 (r^2)(h)

so increasing r and h by 3/2, then
volume increases by (3/2)^2 * (3/2) or
27/8
