Thank you i think im getting somewhere a however, what about -8 x (-4) = -32 am i correct? Ok is this one correct? Also is there a math expert to whom we will pay a decent hourly wage to tutor me?

No, you're not correct. When we multiply two negative numbers, the product is positive.
