I have to replace the words "the bees'" with the correct possessive prounoun. In the sentence: Bees make honey for the bees' food. Would the correct possessive pronoun be "their" food since bees is possive?

However in the sentence...A bee can always fly back to a bee's hive...would a bee's hive be replaced with its since it is singular?

Thanks
