Call the two bodies b and a, with
V(b) = v3 and V(a)= v. Assume masses are equal. Then

KE(b)/KE(a) = (v3/v)^2

Did you mean to write 3v (three times v) instead of v3? You could not have meant v^3, for dimensional reasons.
