The demand equation for a hand-held electronic organizer is... P=5000(1-(4/4+e^-.002x))

Find the demand x for a price of (a) P=600?

So strange. Thx for help

Don't you mean

P = 5000[1 - 4/(4 + e^-.002x)]
?

If P = 600 ,

0.120 = [1 - 4/(4 + e^-.002x)]
4/(4 + e^-.002x)] = 0.88
4 + e^-.002x = 4.5454
e^-.002x = 0.5454
-0.002x = ln(0.5454) = -0.6061
x = 303
