I'll do the first two steps. Your equation is:

-9y -12(2-3y)= -25 -2(y+6)

First multiply out the terms in paretheses.
-9y -24 +36y = -25 -2y -12

Then combine y terms and constants separately, on opposite sides of the equation.
29y = -13

One more step to solve for y.
