In division, what does it mean to decide to drop, include or use the remainder?
Ex: You decide to hang shelves. Each shelf needs 4 brackets. You have 23 brackets. How many shelves can you hang/ What do you do with the remainder, drop, include or use and why????

23/4 = 5 3/4
well you can hang 5 shelves, but what are you going to do with the REMAINING three brackets?
