1. calculate following increases or decreases in population for following countries.
Country A
Births/1000 = 90
Deaths = 36
Immigrants = 20
Emigrants = 10
I calculate this I get 64/1000
Country B
Births/1000 = 75
Deaths = 15
Immigrants = 10
Emigrants = 2
I calculate this I get 68/1000
Country C
Births/1000 = 25
Deaths = 18
Immigrants = 11
Emigrants = 10
I calculate this I get 8/1000
Country D
Births/1000 = 15
Deaths = 14
Immigrants = 8
Emigrants = 6
I calculate this I get 3/1000
2. calculate doubling time of each of following countries
Country E
Births = 110
Deaths = 50
Calculations I get : for natural growh rate/year i get 6%
doubling time i get 11.6 yrs
Country F
Births = 75
Deaths = 32
calculations I get: natural growth reate/yr i get 4.3%
doubling time i get 16.3yrs
Country G
births = 20
deaths = 13
calcualtions: i get .7% for natural growth rate and doubling time be 100 yrs
Country H
births = 90
deaths = 75
calculations: i get 1.5% for natural growth rate, and doubling time be 46.7 yrs.
3. calculate following dependency ratio for following countries
Country I
% children = 21
% adults over 65 = 12
calculations i get for % adults = 67 and dependency load = 33.
Country J
% children = 47
% adults over 65 = 7
calculations i get for % adults = 46
and dependency load = 54
Country K
% children = 19
% adults over 65 = 24
calculations i get for % adults = 57
and dependency load = 43.
Country M
% children = 43
% adults over 65 = 15
calculations i get for % adults = 42 and dependency load = 58
the question i not get is based on population statistics in every grouping countries E - H & I - M, which 2 countries be run into some serious development problem and population problem in future, explain hypothesis 4 each.

ms. sue i say before that country e run into problem because it have large fast growing population in small period so it will need to face development isse for schools, daycares i think. country m run into problems because more children dependent on parents but i need more thing to add in here to make paragraph big.

Ms. Sue
I checked some of your math and it seems to be correct.
If a country is growing fast, it needs to be sure it has enough jobs, food and water for the people.

yeah teacher checked math too and he said was correct but i just not get the last question bit part. for the first part the fast growing population count for children? because then they need more things? the country M :
Country M
% children = 43
% adults over 65 = 15
calculations i get for % adults = 42 and dependency load = 58
the dependency load too much, that mean so many children dependent on parents, but what problem that make?

ms. sue i right?

Ms. Sue
The problem is that many parents with a lot of children can't afford to feed and clothe and educate them.
