                Can you check to see if my answers are correct. If wrong please explain why. 
1. 3 ft = 36

THINK: 1 ft = 12 in
2. 72 in = 2 yd
THINK: 36 in = 1 yd

3. 93 ft. = 31 yd
THINK: 3 ft = 1 yd

Please rethink these problems.

    OK. 
To change from smaller units to larger units, DIVIDE.
15 ft = 5 yd
THINK: 1 ft = 12 in
4 x 12 = 48
4 ft = 48 in
That was an example.
I divide 144 by 12 which is 2.
